Abstract

The fluvial morphology is conditioned by the litological variety of the Paleozoic bedrock, by the Andine
Tectonic influence and by the Quaternary evolution of the area. The fluvial network, with a 5 order, fits to the
theoretical Horton principles. The geometrical parameters suggest a quick rainfall response, the low value of
the drainaje density is according to the physical basin features. Thus observed parameters may be found in
other fluvial system of Sierra Pampeana, Cordoba.
