The objective of the present work is to establish the key curve of sediments, which relates the liquid flow with the solid discharge of pluvial drainage, of a microbasin of Resistencia city (Capital of Chaco Province), from nine measured events from September 2009 to march 2010. The solid discharge term applies to the sediment quantity in motion and its value was obtained from the product between the liquid flow and the concentration of suspended solids. Data was obtained at upstream from two storm drainage inlets. where flow measurements, turbidity analysis and suspended solids concentration were taken. For both values solid and liquid discharge, of the different events, two key curves of sediments were adjusted, from those which presented an acceptable adjustment. Some differences between the effluent pollutograph of both storm drainage inlets were noticed, due to the existing differences in the land use of their catchment areas. It was verified that the solid discharge tends to increase with the increment of the liquid discharge. The resulting information is useful for monitoring and early controls at urban basins located in plain areas.
